Help me take our community on a 5K walkathon, host a Healthy Activity Fair, educate our families and help single parents find the resources they need with Hands4Hope LA!

HopeWalk 2016 will take place on May 21st. Help us help our community as we promote local families and walk for change!

Hands4Hope LA is a North Hollywood-based organization that provides cost-free after-school and summer programs for kids and connects parents to important resources such as housing and healthcare. My parents and I have had the privilege of being involved with Hands4Hope since its inception 16 years ago, and in that time it has served hundreds of families and grown to become a vital community resource.

This year, I've been able to engage more with Hands4Hope as their college prep and guidance mentor for teens, and I can tell you firsthand of the incredible change they are igniting in so many children's lives. Through interactive enrichment classes like cooking and kickboxing as well as more practical mentorship in financial planning and academic tutoring, Hands4Hope is a safe space for kids to be valued, equipped, and empowered to become their best selves.

On Saturday, May 21^st, I will be participating in Hands4Hope's 5K walk to raise support for the organization. I have a fundraising goal of $500, which will go directly to Hands4Hope's continued efforts to provide cost-free programs and crucial resources to local families.
